A small project for a friend. This ring is made from Katalox, secured to a copper band inside, and then turned on a lathe. The finish is polyurethane with a UV-curing resin on the copper to prevent tarnishing. The Wenge box panels were laser cut and glued to the Padauk inside. A scrap of blue cloth holds the ring securely, and two magnets keep the box closed.
